Trigger Warnings: Suicidal Ideation, The American Healthcare system

Best played with volume! But don't turn it up too high because the initial instance of The Sound is honestly pretty loud!

Context/Notes: This is a student project made for a 3-week assignment. I did not change my game at all since the initial deadline. The story is very linear but the Suicidal Ideation segment does have some variation [Every choice in this section is meant to portray a fairly unhealthy mindset, please heed the trigger warnings.]

Disclaimer: I can normally draw better than this :p

Addendum, 1 year later:

Since the creation of this, things have gotten easier. So I thought I'd share some things I've learned.

  • Do your physical therapy stretches every day, yes all of them, yes every single day
  • [But also don't do them if they cause sharp pain]
  • You can't keep doing the things the way you did them before, but that's ok. Adjust around what you can do and you'll figure something out eventually.
  • Listening to your doctor is not enough [self research and advocacy], but do listen to them.
  • Your life might never be the same again, but you're still alive.
